Position Open in the NAMA Southern Office
Chicago, IL—July 31 – Sales, marketing and hospitality management experts looking for a new professional opportunity might be interested in an opening in the National Automatic Merchandising Association’s Southern Office, (NAMA) NAMA Manager of Human Resources Joann Gonos, PHR announced today.
In discussing the position Gonos said, “We’re looking for someone who can help us build upon the exceptional customer service we deliver at NAMA, specifically as a Sales and Service Manager in our Southern Office. We’re looking for someone who is a self-starter with 3-5 years of field sales experience to act as lead role in sales of new memberships to our association and retain existing members in the Southern and Eastern areas of the U.S. If you’re someone who is dedicated to delivering the highest level of customer service this could be an excellent opportunity for you.”
Candidates should be talented and experienced as well as capable of managing new and existing members. They job requires excellent communication, analytical and interpersonal skills, as well as experience in both maintaining existing and soliciting new business. Negotiations, public relations, networking, project management and telemarketing skills are also beneficial, and the position requires traveling approximately 25 percent of the time to attend trade shows and member visits.
Applicants should have a BS in Sales, Marketing or Hospitality management and 3-5 years of field sales experience. Experience in coffee service, food & refreshment vending or food service management industries is preferred, and association membership, sales & service experience is also beneficial.
